Your first day begins near the Tjaldstæði Raufarhafnar camping area. From there, you will visit the mystical Heimskautsgerðið, known as the Arctic Stonehenge, which looks as if it belongs to another world. Afterward, take a peaceful stroll through the remote village of Raufarhöfn and end your day listening to the silence along the shores of Ólafsvatn. On the second day, it is time to explore the hidden lakes of the region. Following nature walks around Ytra-Deildarvatn and Arnarvatn, you will head to Hraunhafnarvatn, which offers spectacular birdwatching opportunities. The wild nature and ocean views along the coast of Gefla promise unforgettable photo opportunities at sunset.
