Bringing together two of Central Anatolia's most developed, dynamic, and culturally rich modern cities, this two-day fast-paced corridor tour promises a perfect weekend getaway offering entertainment, history, and vibrant city life. Our journey begins in Turkey's modern capital, Ankara, with a visit to the magnificent Anıtkabir, the eternal resting place of Atatürk, the leader of the independence struggle. To trace the early years of the Republic, we immediately proceed to the Cumhuriyet Müzesi, examining valuable exhibits that reflect the nation's founding philosophy. After making a brief transition to the ancient era to witness the elegant architecture of the Augustus Tapınağı, we conclude our first day immersed in Ankara's deep historical atmosphere by touring the Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi, which presents the tens of thousands of years of Anatolian history through a monumental collection.
On the second day, we shift our route to Eskişehir, widely known as Central Anatolia's student city, which resembles a classic European town with its flowing river and expansive parks. We start the day with a delightful walk through the narrow, nostalgic streets of the colorful Odunpazarı Evleri, which preserve the city's historical texture in its purest form and harbor unique examples of traditional Ottoman civil architecture.
