We start the first day of our journey exploring the magnificent Baksı Müzesi, built on a steep hill and masterfully bringing together traditional handicrafts and modern art under the same roof, notable for its award-winning architecture. Following this art experience, we descend into the city's historical fabric, taking a break among the ruins of Bent Hamamı, a beautiful example of Ottoman civil architecture. We embark on an educational journey into the past in the halls of Bayburt Müzesi, revealing the region's archaeological wealth. We complete our day throwing off our fatigue on the calm shores of Oruçbeyli Göleti, surrounded by pine trees in the peaceful lap of nature.
On the second day of this Bayburt adventure, we turn our route to the heroic epics of our recent history, visiting the Kop Dağı Müdafaası TMP area, which keeps alive the memory of the great struggle fought in harsh winter conditions. We embark on a discovery towards the mysterious depths of the impressive Çimağıl Mağarası, witnessing nature's underground craftsmanship. We then wander in the nostalgic streets of eski Taşcılar köyü, reflecting traditional stonemasonry and civil architecture examples. We end our tour visiting with awe the Dede Korkut türbesi, dedicated to the wise bard of the Turkic world, concluding this unique Anatolian journey with meaningful memories.
