On the first day of our journey, the route turns to Efes Örenyeri, one of the most fascinating ancient cities in the world. After wandering through this magnificent open-air museum, characterized by its colonnaded streets and monumental structures, you will trace the remains of the Artemis Tapinagi, renowned as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Once you have examined the splendid statues and historical artifacts housed in the Efes Müzesi, the day concludes with a restful evening in the famous Şirince Köyü, surrounded by olive trees and historic Greek houses.
The second day extends into the lands of Aydın to delve deeper into the archaeological wealth resting at the heart of the Aegean. We start the day by exploring the theater and the grid-planned urban structure of Milet Örenyeri, famously known as the birthplace of science and philosophy. While exploring the adjacent Hierapolis Örenyeri, one of the most important health centers of antiquity, we will also examine the ruins of Latrinae, an intriguing social structure of the Roman period. We make the grand finale of our tour at Laodikeia Örenyeri, one of the crucial centers of early Christianity, dazzling with its churches and massive theater; bidding farewell to this convergence of history, nature, and architecture in the Aegean.
