We start the first day of our journey visiting Konya Ereğli Müzesi, where precious artifacts from regional excavations are exhibited. Immediately after, we find peace in the spiritual atmosphere of the magnificent Mevlana Müzesi, considered the heart of tolerance. Later, after watching with great awe the Mevlevi Sema Töreni, which deeply affects people with its mystical rituals, we visit the historical Mecma’ül-Bahreyn, considered the symbol of spiritual meetings, completing the day with spiritual satisfaction. On the second day, we turn our route to the silent witnesses of trade routes. We examine Zazadin Han, an elegant example of Seljuk caravanserai architecture, and take a historical break among the ruins of Gevale Kalesi, a defense structure. We rest at Akyokuş, where we can watch Konya from a bird's-eye view, and then explore the fascinating Çatalhöyük Örenyeri, one of the oldest settlements in human history.
On the final day of this cultural heritage tour, we embark on a cool discovery in the dark galleries of the enormous Tınaztepe Mağaraları, shaped by nature underground over thousands of years. Following this feast of nature, we turn our route back to ancient history. We are fascinated by the magnificent rock carving art of İvriz Kaya Anıtı, considered a well-preserved agricultural monument of the Hittite period. We end this historical adventure blossoming in the middle of the steppe with memories.
