Centered around Nevşehir in the fascinating geography of Central Anatolia, this three-day exploration tour focuses primarily on the massive underground cities hidden beneath the region and its deep spiritual roots. Going beyond the fairytale landscapes of the fairy chimneys, our route uncovers millennia-old secrets on its first day, beginning at Göreme Örenyeri, where volcanic formations are best observed. After examining the monastic life carved into the tuff rocks, you will admire the intricate frescoes of El Nazar Kilisesi, tucked away in a quiet corner of the valley. From there, you will move to Ürgüp Müzesi to examine fossils and archaeological finds, ending the day with a relaxing break at the architectural masterpiece Sarıhan Kervansaray along the historic Silk Road.
On the second day, we take our first profound step into the depths of Cappadocia. The fascinating Özkonak Yeraltı Şehri, with its hundreds of rooms and tunnels, demonstrates the ingenious systems ancient people built to protect themselves from imminent danger. Returning to the surface, we ascend to the region's highest point, the monumental Uçhisar Kalesi, for a bird's-eye view of the entire landscape, followed by a chronological study of the region's history at Nevşehir Müzesi. We dedicate the latter part of the day to the Hacıbektaş-ı Veli complex, a vital center of faith and tolerance in Anatolia.
On our third and final day, we deeply explore the Hacıbektaş Müzesi, tracing the centuries-old legacy of Bektashi culture. Following this spiritually fulfilling start, we descend once again into the mysterious underground world to discover Tatlarin Yeraltı Şehri, an ancient subterranean settlement that astonishes visitors with its massive food storage chambers. After a brief rest at the historic Karavenk Çeşmesi, which harmonizes perfectly with the region's ancient texture, we conclude this extraordinary tour at Kaymaklı Yeraltı Şehri.
