The first day of the adventure begins by watching a fascinating view from the Cizre Cam Teras, which lays the unique curves and wide valley of the Tigris River under your feet. Immediately following this visual feast presented by nature, the Mem u Zin Türbesi, hosting one of the saddest love epics of literature, is respectfully visited. After this spiritually fulfilling stop, the historic Kırmızı Medrese, serving as the center of science and culture of the region with its red-brick architecture, is explored. The conclusion of the day takes place in the challenging but atmosphere of the famous Judi Dagh Sennacherib Panel II relief, dating back thousands of years and engraving the power of the Assyrian kings into the rocks.
The second day begins by taking a deeper look into the region's archaeological and cultural past. With the first light of the morning, the millennia-old past of the region is discovered in chronological order by visiting the Cizre Müzesi, which exhibits Cizre's multi-layered historical heritage. Accompanied by the historical background provided by the museum, a steep climb begins towards the rugged and imposing Cudi Dağı, the main target of the route. On the challenging slope of the mountain, the Judi Dagh Sennacherib Panel I and subsequently the Judi Dagh Sennacherib Panel VII monuments, reflecting the artistic and military grandeur of antiquity, are examined. Ending the day at the summit of Cudi Dağı—accepted in prehistoric legends as the resting place of Noah's Ark and possessing a deep spiritual attraction—this challenging Mesopotamian adventure takes its place in the visitors' memories as an epic memory.
